...the beginning of the track started out like some sort of fairy tale journey, from the minute Norine began singing I knew I would love this song. I’m reminded of the musical portions of those old 40s musical movies a la Fred Astaire or Judy Garland that I used to love watching as a child. I literally got the urge to break out into song and dance, definitely a voice that could turn around even the worst mood. Very fresh, very pleasant, well done Norine.

Winner In the Artists For Literacy International Songwriting Competition
I was inspired by Fahrenheit 451's cinematic qualities and strange dreamlike logic. Ray Bradbury’s insight and foresight regarding intellectual freedom with censorship and brainwashing at its core ignited me. He dared ask the question of being happy and fulfilled of his main character. The timeliness and contemporary feel of this novel was irresistible. I focused on the conformity aspect and how this creates the illusion of security and prevents people from looking for fulfillment and searching for freedom. I encapsulated the highlights of the novel and styled it into a rap rock funk ambient fusion to reflect today's energy and world.

Skylight A semi classical pop intro, (at times reminiscent of Chicago's "Color my world) leading into an incredibly exceptional vocalist! Wow! Voice is my bag, and this is an amazing instrument. Depth, style, character, you name it. She knows her instrument and plays with it at will. Fabulous! The song is jazzy and bluesy at the same time, and a very good composition. That's a voice that could turn anything to gold! In this case though, everything was in a different class ... an extremely high one.

I like the classic style piano. It brings a level of Nora Jones elegance to the song. And her voice is velvet smooth and cuts thru the air like a knife. I listened to the song the first time and did not pay attention to any of the words. Just the sound alone caried the song. "Under the skylight" very good a love song.With that voice you do not sound like someone who would have a problem getting a date on Saturday night. With that voice you could rule the world.

....the song itself is very special, and almost melted my hard cold Norwegian heart. It made me want to escape from my own life, and escape to Alberta with the big sky tumbling down, and where those strong winds can really push you around. The song is that powerful, and almost reminds me of folk music. Yes, I am getting my atlas now to see where Alberta is. A moving song this, which I recommend from all my heart.

I felt as if I was on a Thelma and Louise road trip with listening to 'Alberta', the wind blowing through my hair, the blue skies so close I could reach up and grab a cloud. Delicious.... The vocals are the star here, that wonderfully classic style in the likes of Joni Mitchell. I like so much the placement of the lyric by the singer and the tonation she uses.

Love the keyboards & I especially love the excellent guitar work which is highly original - no straight lead breaks here.
